TCL VoiceProRepair and Replacement Parts
Stok Software acquired the distributorship of the new VoicePro manufactured by TCL Communication. You can now come to us for maintenance and support of your VoicePro products.All units are now assembled and tested in the USA and have the latest software and improved battery. If you bought an older (Voice Logic) version of the VoicePro elsewhere, you can upgrade the software, user's manual, and the battery below.
Battery upgrade: Add extended life to older units with a new maintenance-free rechargeable lead-acid battery. A dead battery that does not take a charge may cause the system to repeatedly reset itself and overheat the power adapter. DO THIS: Unplug the VoicePro. If the yellow light does not blink, then you have a dead battery. Same size battery fits all VoicePro units. Just reuse the existing red/black connection wires. Find locations by zipcode to recycle your old rechargeable battery with call2recycle.
Software upgrade: Update an old unit purchased elsewhere with the latest software version 2.021 by replacing the two software chips inside the unit. You can use function 92 to find out what software version you have installed. You need a PLCC Square Extractor Tool
to remove the two chips to be replaced.
Software Version 2.021 has more functionality and somewhat different functions than the old Voice Logic brand.
New User's Manual: If you purchased an older unit elsewhere and you ungrade the software, be sure to get the updated programming manual as well, available from our publisher.
Memory upgrade: Increase your voice storage to four or eight hours by replacing the two 1-hour memory SIMMs with one or two 4-hour memory SIMMs.
Power Adapter Plug: The VoicePro uses a 120 volt power adapter plug with a 28 volt DC output at 600 mA. If your wires are fraid you may need to replace it for safty.
Repair Old VoicePro: If you have an older Voice Logic brand VoicePro that does not work, or any VP206 or VP412 that needs repair, now you can feel safe with our flat rate repair cost. Just send us your old unit, make your payment below, and we'll repair it to new condition again. Repair prices below include new battery and all parts and labor as well as an additional one-year warranty.
