It's Voice Mail |
A caller can dial directly into a mailbox or if they first try to dial an extension and there is no answer, they will be routed to a mailbox. Each extension has its own mailbox and each personnel can record their own personal greeting for their extension.
You can assign mailboxes or extensions to menu keys so that the caller just presses a single key to leave a message, or to reach a department, or your personnel.
You can combine voice mail into your custom menu in any way you require. Or just let the system default to an extension's mailbox when there is no answer.
Pager notification can be programmed into any mailbox to notify the mailbox holder that a message was left.
The VoicePro can even the user's cell phone, or any number, by voice, to "tell them" that they have a message. They can optionally log in with their passcode during that call, to pick up your messages.
If you maintian more than one mailbox yourself, you can determine which mailboxes have messages in one step. So there is no need to dial each mailbox to find which has messages.
Each extension has an associated mailbox. And there are additonal mailboxes that handle "only" Voice Mail, up to 99 mailboxes in total.
