The VoicePro is truly a self-contained all-in-one unit. Besides a full-featured Voice Mail System and a programmable Automated Attendant, it is also a fully functioning PBX phone switch.
You can pick up any telephone extension and dial any other extension or outside phone number. You can place calls on hold, transfer from one extension to another, and create three-party conferences. Music-on-Hold is available if you connect your own music source to the input jack.
Each extension supports regular analog touch-tone telephones and cordless phones. The VoicePro even passes Caller-ID to the extensions (assuming you have Caller-ID service and a phone that displays it). There is a jack on the back for each extension. The Central Office (CO) Line jacks connect the unit to the outside world. Up to four incoming lines can be connected to the VoicePro. The number of outside calls that can be handled at one time is dependant on how many lines you have connected.
