NARRATIVE

The Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center (TVHC) is a two-story medical clinic building providing care to the population of the immediate Ashland/Cherryland unincorporated area of Alameda County and surrounding city areas. The space consists of medical offices and exam rooms, waiting and reception areas, and utility rooms.

The TVHC has an extensive on-site photovoltaic system in the parking lot and on the building’s roof, resulting in an estimated 70% reduction in energy costs. The building uses highly efficient plumbing fixtures and appliances and also diverted a majority of construction waste from the landfill.
