NARRATIVE

The Natural Resources Defense Council’s (NRDC) San Francisco office is pursuing both LEED v4 Gold Certification and Living Building Challenge (LBC) Materials Petal Certification. It is one of the first tenant improvement projects to take on the immense challenge of pursuing both ratings systems.

The office has operable windows throughout, allowing for natural ventilation and light to be optimized. The space, which embraces NRDC’s mission of creating a sustainable and healthy environment, takes up 2 floors of 111 Sutter Street, a 25-story historic high rise in San Francisco’s Financial District.
