Based in Mountain View, California, its headquarters is a 2-story, 70,000 sq. ft. building that underwent major renovations to provide optimal work environments for its employees. With sustainability and performance as a priority, LinkedIn’s headquarters incorporated high performance designs and technologies to improve energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality, also achieving LEED Gold certification.

stok was hired to perform LEED for New Construction energy modeling, LEED Enhanced Commissioning and sustainability design charrettes for LinkedIn’s Mountain View headquarters. Through rigorous modeling, stok developed an ASHRAE Exceptional Calculation and gained USGBC approval to claim a 74% annual lighting energy use reduction due to lighting design and controls.
