The Kirkland and Ellis San Francisco office occupies four floors of 555 California Street, a prominent, iconic fixture in the city’s real estate portfolio.

Kirkland & Ellis has a corporate commitment to sustainability, upholding its high standard of LEED Gold certification for all of its global offices. For its San Francisco location, the certification pursuit focused on energy and water savings as well as healthy material selection.

High efficiency fixtures and daylight controls for all perimeter lighting zones resulted in a 30% reduction in electricity. Additionally, selection of low flow and flush water allowed for a 36% reduction in annual water consumption. Lastly, all interior surfaces are comprised of materials that meet high standards for emissions control – improving the air quality of the space for healthier employees.
