When you need to get many people together in a phone conference to discuss business plans,
I recommend AccuConference for the task.
AccuConference is a fully automated service available anytime without reservations. You can do all the conference administration via the web.
You can chose a flat billing method using local access numbers, or pay-as-you-go at 7.9¢ per minute. With the flat fee structure, all your callers would have to pay for long distance calls unless they have unlimited service or unused minutes on their cellular phone. The pay-as-you-go method uses Toll-Free access numbers.

I need to get a local, toll-free, or international local number that rings to me in the U.S.
Kall8 lets you choose your own Local or Toll-Free number for $2/month and 6.9¢/minute.
Control custom routing via the web.
Daily call detail with name and phone number of callers are posted to your web-based control panel.
Receive a detailed email notification every time someone calls your Kall8 number with
Caller ID, time and date of call, and the length of the call.
Block unwanted areacodes or specific numbers and send them to voice mail or to an "always busy."
Get your VoiceMail in your Email or call in to listen to your messages.
You can also return calls and originate calls via your Kall8 service.
You even have the option of displaying your Kall8 number as caller ID.
Kall8 has overseas numbers too! Establish a presence in your caller's home country using Kall8's international local numbers. Local numbers are available in France, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom. See more

I need a dedicated fax line
Kall8, which I just described above, is also a great solution for a dedicated fax line. Rather than paying for another phone line for your fax machine, Kall8 will be your fax line. You can chose a toll-free number and set it to "fax-only" mode. Then specify the e-mail address you want the faxes to be sent to and the type of file you want. Either TIF or PDF. Kall8 is only $2 per month and faxes are roughly 7¢ per page, depending on page size. With Kall8 as your fax line, you can save your fax files, or send them to other people via e-mail.Learn more
How can I send an e-mail to a fax machine?
Kall8 was only for inbound faxes. If you want to send faxes and use e-mail to do it,
eFax is the one I recommend. eFax also provides a toll-free number, like Kall8, to
use for inbound faxes. But I suggest you use Kall8 for that since it's cheaper.
Just use eFax for when you need to send a fax. The combination of the two helps reduce
your costs as I don't know of another service that lets you send faxes as easy as eFax via e-mail.
You can attach any printable file to an e-mail and send it to a special e-mail address that includes the fax phone number in the address. The service will forward your fax to the fax machine at that number. With eFax you can even send faxes from your cell phone.

I want a cell phone only for emergencies

Minutes are purchased for varying periods of time by buying airtime cards, which are then added to your phone. If you don't use up all your minutes and you add more before the period is over, any unused minutes will roll over. That is, you get to keep them.
I recommend buying the one-year airtime card. This gives you 2000 minutes and you don't need to think about it any more for a whole year. No bills for a year. This card is $200. Imagine having a cellular phone for a year for only $200. If you use us your minutes, just buy another airtime card. They sell as low as 300 minutes for $30. This card lasts 60 days.
What does the expiration mean? To be clear, if you add more minutes before it expires, then the unused minutes roll over. If you use up your minutes before the expiration, then you simply need to add more minutes.
There are various phones to select from, such as Samsung, LG, Motorola, and Nokia. And you can transfer your existing cellular number or start with a new one. I talk about this with much more information included here

I need a Real Estate lead capture system
TeleCenter™ is a hosted phone system for business virtual PBX services.
They also have a special version for Real Estate called the
TeleCenter Real Estate Pro, which includes the features needed
by Real Estate agents for advertising properties and capturing the lead information
for follow-up.
TeleCenter Real Estate Pro has a flat monthly fee of $34.95 for Unlimited Inbound calls and only 5.9 cents/minute for Outbound calls. But if you dial your outbound calls yourself from your office instead of returning calls via the voice mail option, then the outbound minutes don't apply. Learn more

Another long distance carrier took my service.
This is known as Long Distance Slamming. You don't have to pay the bill if you did not give permission to that new carrier to service your long distance calls. But you need to call your old carrier and tell them it happened. They should be able to work with your local phone company to get it switched back. Then you need to protect yourself from this in the future with something called a PIC Freeze. It doesn't cost anything. Learn more
