Review Of Prepaid International Calling With No Hidden Charges Using Centsible Calling
You don't need a subscription calling plan to save on international calls. A better
alternative is a pay-as-you-go service. But you want one that
doesn't charge you for non-usage.
When I registered for Centsible Calling, I put $10 into the prepaid account. The service was active for me to use the same day. I loved the way I didn't need to dial a PIN code. This is because they recognize the number I'm calling from.
And I even was able to add my cell phone number to the list so I could use that too without a PIN. All I need to do is dial an access number and then the overseas number.
I wanted to test the services claim that they never expire unused minutes. So I opened a second account and left $5 in it for over a year.
When I checked, it still had that exact amount in my account, waiting to be used. Many prepaid services charge a monthly fee and even include a surcharge on every call. But Centsible Calling has no fees other than the per-minute rates they charge for calls.
Each country is different but the best thing about Centsible Calling is that I found their rates to be the lowest to most countries.
I have never found any other service that has rates as low. You can check on this for yourself. When you click the Centsible Calling logo at the right you'll be taken to their web site where you can review their "international calling rates" for all countries.
Using Centsible Calling helps you stay in touch with loved ones around the world. And there is no pressure to keep your conversations short when you end up paying less than two dollars for a whole hour to most countries.
Calling from your cell phone
The best way to use Centsible Calling is to call from your cell phone in the evening or weekends when you have unlimited minutes. This is because Centsible Calling keeps your cost down by using a regular phone number instead of a toll-free number for access. And if you have more peak-time minutes on your cell phone than you use, then you can put them to good use for your international calls with Centsible Calling.
When you dial the access number it will recognize your Caller-ID so you don't need to enter lengthy pin codes. Just dial the international number after calling Centsible Calling. It will tell you how much money you have in your account and how long you can talk with the party you just dialed.
Calling from a landline
If you don't want to use your cell phone, you can call from your landline. But you may have long distance charges there. So in that case you can use their 800 access number. The usage cost is increased by one penny just to cover the cost of using the toll-free access number. But it works the same.If your landline is a VoIP service (such as from your cable provider) then you probaly have unlimited nationwide calling. So you can call the local access number and get the lowest rates for international calls.
It still recognizes your Caller-ID so you don't need to enter a pin. Just make sure you add your landline number to your account so it recognizes you.

I give it 5 stars.
